Job Summary
Leading the launch and delivery of state HOMES and HEAR programs, the full-time Texas State Energy Program Director will oversee strategic initiatives, manage subcontractors, and ensure compliance with U.S. Department of Energy requirements while based in Texas.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement start-up plans to ensure timely delivery of program elements and compliance with requirements
- Manage program financials and maintain production forecasts, proactively addressing any discrepancies
- Lead and align the implementation team and subcontractors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with clients
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Studies, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of experience in Energy Efficiency, Energy Management, or Program Management
- Proven experience managing complex program budgets and leading multidisciplinary teams
- Strong knowledge of the energy efficiency industry and U.S. Department of Energy guidelines
- Executive-level communication and presentation skills
