Job Summary
Seeking a motivated Texas Water Resources Engineer, the full-time position will focus on delivering drainage and hydraulic design solutions for transportation and bridge projects, while also contributing to stormwater planning and regulatory efforts.
Key responsibilities
- Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for transportation corridors and drainage systems
- Design hydraulic features and prepare drainage reports and floodplain documentation
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams while mentoring junior engineers
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering
- Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
- 2-4+ years of experience in hydrology and hydraulics design
- Proficiency with industry-standard software such as HEC-RAS and ArcGIS
- Must have authorization to work permanently in the U.S
