Texas z/OS Systems Programmer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Mainframe z/OS Systems Programmer.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, maintain, and perform system software updates for IBM System Z Operating systems
- Schedule and coordinate operating system testing and implementation while communicating prerequisites and post-install procedures
- Provide on-call support for z/OS systems and maintain technical procedures and documentation
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or College Diploma
- Experience with IBM Mainframe z/OS Systems Programming
- Knowledge of SMP/E work and legacy Windows Server support
- Ability to establish test and implementation plans for operating system upgrades
- Experience in maintaining documentation systems for software support
