Job Summary

Providing audio and video interpretation services, the independent contractor Thai Interpreter (Remote) will facilitate communication for the Limited English Proficient community through a web-based platform while ensuring adherence to professional standards and protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Provide effective audio and video interpreting through a web-based platform
• Answer inbound calls in a timely manner and deliver superior customer service
• Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to the Code of Professional Conduct and industry best practices

Required qualifications

• Full fluency in both English and Thai
• Proficiency in technology, including web-based platforms and Microsoft Word
• A quiet and secure interpreting space free from outside noise
• 1+ years of professional interpreting experience preferred
• Industry-specific certifications or training (e.g., CMI, CCHI) preferred
