Theatre Production Manager

Job Summary

Overseeing theatre and dance productions, the full-time Production Manager (Theatre & Performance) will manage operations, production budgets, and timelines while serving as the primary liaison for scheduling and coordinating rehearsal and performance spaces onsite.

Key responsibilities

• Manage guest performer engagements and independent contractor arrangements, ensuring effective communication and coordination
• Establish and monitor production budgets, projecting expenditures for the season and individual productions
• Coordinate with the production team to determine and procure necessary goods and services for productions

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Theatre or equivalent experience
• Prior experience as a theatrical Production Manager
• Considerable knowledge of educational theatre, production management, and technical theatre
• Demonstrated ability to manage all aspects of stage productions under strict time constraints
• Experience in a professional stage and production management environment
