Therapy Access Specialist

Job Summary

Guiding new patients through the sales and healthcare reimbursement process, the full-time remote Therapy Access Specialist will serve as the primary contact for obtaining Cala Health products and services while educating patients on their benefits and coordinating with sales representatives.

Key responsibilities

• Guide new patients through the sales and healthcare reimbursement process
• Educate potential patients about the benefits and features of Cala Health devices and therapies
• Investigate patients' insurance benefits and coverage eligibility while securing necessary documentation for prior authorization

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service or related role
• Knowledge of the managed care industry, including government payers
• Understanding of healthcare plans and benefits related to durable medical equipment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience using Salesforce is preferred but not required
