Thermal Analyst III

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Thermal Analyst III (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Apply engineering principles to support design, development, and verification for aerospace and defense programs
• Lead analysis, design, and optimization of aerodynamic and thermal systems for defense platforms
• Provide technical documentation and support wind tunnel and thermal testing to validate designs

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a DoD SECRET clearance
• Experience with high-temperature materials and ablative thermal protection systems
• Experience with thermal protection system sizing and analysis using standard tools
• Experience conducting high-speed numerical simulations (CFD) of aerospace vehicles
