Job Summary

A company is looking for a Core Thermal Hydraulic Engineer for a remote, contract opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thermal-hydraulics analysis using in-house subchannel analysis software for reactor safety design parameters
• Ensure work complies with the company's quality assurance program and requirements
• Conduct design verification reviews of calculation products following governing policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

• B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in mechanical, nuclear, or relevant technical engineering area from an accredited university
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in thermal hydraulic analysis with a B.S. degree, or 8+ years with an M.S. or Ph.D
• 8+ years of experience in nuclear systems thermal-hydraulic behavior and analyses
• Knowledge and experience in advanced liquid metal-cooled nuclear reactor core design and thermal hydraulic analysis using relevant software
• Strong understanding of uncertainty quantification, verification, and validation
