Job Summary

A company is looking for a Computational Thermal Hydraulics Analyst for a yearlong, fully remote contract position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct computational analysis of in-core steady-state thermal hydraulic phenomena
  • Perform code benchmarking and validation analyses to support code qualification and methodology development
  • Integrate with engineering groups to support reactor core and component testing programs
Required Qualifications
  • B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Mechanical, Nuclear, or relevant Engineering fields
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in thermal hydraulic analysis with a B.S. degree, or 6+ years with an M.S., or 3+ years with a Ph.D
  • 6+ years of experience in Nuclear Systems Thermal-Hydraulic behavior and analyses, with a preference for 1D modeling experience
  • Demonstrated expertise with CAD modeling tools, preferably SolidWorks, and modern CFD tools like STAR-CCM+
  • Experience in nuclear reactor core subchannel analysis is preferred
