Thermal Hydraulics Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Core Thermal Hydraulics Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thermal-hydraulics analysis using in-house subchannel software for reactor core scenarios
• Develop and verify calculation products following quality assurance policies
• Support the sodium-cooled Natrium Reactor project and collaborate with team members on analysis results

Required Qualifications

• B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Mechanical, Nuclear, or relevant Engineering from an accredited university
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in thermal hydraulic analysis with a B.S. degree, or 8+ years with an M.S. or Ph.D. degree
• Extensive experience in nuclear systems thermal-hydraulic behavior and analyses
• Proficiency in advanced liquid metal-cooled nuclear reactor core design and analysis software
• Strong understanding of uncertainty quantification, verification, and validation techniques
