Third-Party Resilience Manager

Job Summary

To enhance operational continuity, the full-time Manager of Third-Party Resilience will identify and manage resiliency risks across external vendors while collaborating with various stakeholders to strengthen the resilience program.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert for third-party resilience risk management and enhance risk assessment activities
• Support quality assurance over resilience assessments and manage sole provider third-party risks
• Design and conduct business continuity exercises with third parties to test preparedness and response effectiveness

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Third Party Resilience Risk Management and/or Business Continuity
• Strong understanding of American Express products, services, and organizational structure
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
• Familiarity with Third Party Lifecycle Management program is preferred
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
