Threat Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Threat Analyst to join their Threat Intelligence Group.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, analyze, and document network signals, malware behaviors, and threat reports
• Provide actionable intelligence to product and security teams to safeguard systems
• Lead analysis efforts on multiple threat actors and serve as a subject matter expert

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• 5 years of experience in security engineering, computer and network security, and security protocols
• 5 years of coding experience in one or more general-purpose languages
• 5 years of experience in a threat intelligence or related analyst role
• 2 years of experience in detection engineering with YARA, Snort/Suricata, and EDR rule creation
