Threat Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely in the Philippines, the full-time Threat Analyst will monitor and assess phishing threats reported by customers, manage threat analysis cases, and assist senior team members during investigations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor Triage systems for new customer-reported suspicious emails and perform initial assessments
• Initiate threat analysis cases for emails posing a threat and escalate to senior team members as necessary
• Maintain ownership of cases, communicate with customers, and assist in producing monthly reports

Required qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of general security experience or education with demonstrated ability in phishing and malware analysis
• Industry-recognized certifications in Malware Analysis and Incident Response preferred
• 2-4 Year Degree in Computer Science or relevant field experience preferred
• Proficiency in networking, operating systems, and email infrastructures such as Exchange and Office 365
• Familiarity with common end-user applications like MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
