Threat Analyst

Job Summary

Identifying and mitigating insider threats, the part-time contract Threat Analyst will analyze user behavior, investigate suspicious events, and collaborate with internal security teams while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and triage insider threat signals from various security tools
• Collaborate with HR and security teams to investigate incidents and develop remediation plans
• Develop detection logic and conduct end-to-end investigations to document findings

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in threat analysis and Security Operations Center (SOC) environments
• Demonstrated experience in insider threat prevention and internal security breach investigations
• Proficiency with monitoring and logging tools such as Elastic, Proofpoint, and CrowdStrike
• Strong knowledge of insider threat scenarios and incident handling methods
• Experience analyzing logs from multiple sources, including identity, endpoint, and network
