Focused on enhancing detection capabilities, the full-time remote Threat Analyst specializing in Machine Learning will analyze malware and detection data, manage false positive detections, and collaborate with internal teams to address customer inquiries regarding threat detection.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze detection data and customer reports to improve machine learning models
• Perform tasks to manage and reduce false positive detections
• Investigate binary files to assess their legitimacy and review product detections for performance standards

Required qualifications

• Exposure to various types and functionalities of malware
• Experience in reverse engineering malware or malware operations
• Knowledge of programming and scripting languages, particularly Python
• Fundamental understanding of binary file attributes such as imports/exports
• General understanding of threat and risk management principles
