Job Summary

Focused on enhancing detection capabilities, the full-time remote Threat Analyst - Machine Learning will analyze malware and detection data, manage false positive detections, and address internal inquiries regarding threat detections.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze detection data and customer reports to identify improvements for machine learning models
• Perform tasks to manage false positive detections effectively
• Investigate binary files to assess their legitimacy and ensure product detections meet company standards

Required qualifications

• Exposure to various types and functionalities of malware
• Experience with reverse engineering malware or malware operations
• Knowledge of programming and scripting languages, particularly Python
• Fundamental understanding of binary file attributes, including imports/exports and packers
• General understanding of threat/risk management and assessment
