Threat Detection Team Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Threat Detection Team Lead.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership to level 1 and 2 analysts, collaborate with external teams, and support strategic plans and projects
• Track tactical issues, recommend security tools, and assist with cyber threat intelligence and incident response
• Perform cyber defense trend analysis, organize tabletop exercises, and maintain scheduling for 24/7 coverage

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years' experience in Threat Detection Roles
• Demonstrated expert technical skills in packet analysis, incident response, scripting, system administration, and network security
• Knowledge of security monitoring technologies, network and host security products, and vulnerability assessment concepts
• Ability to work in a team environment, train and coach team members, and work on a rotating shift schedule
• Relevant technical certifications such as Comptia, GIAC, CISSP, OSCP, or SIEM vendor-specific certifications are a plus
