Threat Research Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance detection capabilities through client-side technologies, the full-time remote Threat Research Engineer will challenge bot detection mechanisms, improve client-side bot detection, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new detection approaches.

Key responsibilities

• Challenge internal bot detection mechanisms and create tools for automation
• Enhance client-side bot detection by adding new signals and improving JavaScript code security
• Collaborate with team members to research and implement new methods for bot detection

Required qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience programming in JavaScript
• Strong computer science background
• Experience dealing with bots or malware
• Strong knowledge of web client-side technologies
• A "hacker" spirit and good communication skills
