Threat Response Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Threat Response Engineer will perform investigations into detected threats, analyze and remediate issues in customer environments, and provide detailed reports while collaborating with various teams to enhance security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate detected threats and utilize security products for analysis and remediation
• Provide thorough reports to customers detailing actions taken for environment cleanup and protection
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative threat remediation strategies

Required qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with experience responding to security events and threats
• Experience with Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) products such as CrowdStrike or Microsoft Defender
• Foundational understanding of Windows and MacOS operating systems
• Demonstrated curiosity and experience integrating AI tools into workflows
• Ability to work Monday - Friday from 10:00am - 6:00pm MT and participate in a monthly on-call rotation
