Job Summary
Working in a hybrid capacity, the Tier 1 Engineer, Virginia Licensed, will respond to customer support requests, troubleshoot IT issues, and collaborate with team members to deliver managed services for the Defense Industrial Base.
Key responsibilities
- Responding to customer support requests for Defense Industrial Base customers
- Documenting resolutions and building knowledge base articles while tracking time and activity in the ticketing system
- Utilizing monitoring and cybersecurity systems to triage alerts and alarms
Required qualifications
- Associates degree in an IT-related curriculum or equivalent industry experience
- Experience with Active Directory/Entra AD and Office 365/Microsoft 365
- Familiarity with LAN/WAN environments and remote troubleshooting of devices
- 1+ year in a Managed Service Provider environment is preferred
- Certifications such as Security+, Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, or Network+ are encouraged
