Tier 1 SOC Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Tier 1 SOC Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform triage and root cause analysis on security events and incidents
• Conduct continuous monitoring of security events across various platforms and systems
• Provide first-line communication for events into the SOC and document findings

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience preferred)
• Proven experience (2+ years) in a SOC or security-related role
• Familiarity with security technologies and tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and firewalls
• Understanding of common network protocols and security incident response methodologies
• U.S. Citizenship is required as this is in support of a Federal Customer
