Tier 2 Network Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Tier 2 LAN-WiFi-Voice Network Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform LMR radio programming and configuration using Radio Management Software
• Advise stakeholders on radio configurations and system updates to enhance performance
• Produce monthly radio inventory and configuration reports and maintain technical documentation

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in relevant fields
• A degree from an accredited College/University is preferred, or four additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• Hands-on experience supporting Land Mobile Radio (LMR) systems, specifically Motorola equipment
• Familiarity with FCC compliance requirements for radio and wireless systems
• Experience in Tier 2 support for LAN, Wi-Fi, and voice network environments
