Tier 2 Network Engineer
Job Summary
Working fully remote, the Tier 2 Network Engineer will take ownership of advanced network troubleshooting, resolving complex technical issues for a diverse client base while contributing to customer support and internal engineering improvements.
Key responsibilities
- Respond to customer support requests, resolving advanced networking issues with urgency and sound judgment
- Troubleshoot and support network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs across client environments
- Document resolutions and contribute to knowledge base articles to enhance team-wide support capabilities
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience administering or supporting networking technologies
- Associate or bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent relevant experience
- Experience with technologies such as NAT/PAT, VPN, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, and SD-WAN
- Relevant networking certifications preferred, including CCNA or Azure/AWS networking certifications
- Strong troubleshooting ability across core networking technologies and client environments
