Job Summary
Providing advanced technical support, the full-time Tier 2 Support Specialist will manage incident resolution and system troubleshooting for VA users, applications, and infrastructure in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 support for escalated incidents and troubleshoot issues related to networks, applications, and user access
- Diagnose and resolve system and application issues, including those involving Windows/Linux OS and VA approved applications
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies and support vulnerability remediation and audit requests
Required qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of technical support or system administration experience
- Experience supporting federal agencies such as VA, DoD, or HHS
- Strong troubleshooting skills across operating systems, networks, and applications
- Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow
