Job Summary
To support a growing team, the full-time Tier 3 Network Support Engineer will manage complex networking environments, troubleshoot advanced IT issues, and mentor junior staff while working remotely from the Central or Pacific Time Zones.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the ultimate escalation point for Level 1 and Level 2 help-desk technicians, resolving complex tickets and providing mentorship
- Troubleshoot, configure, and manage complex routing, switching, LAN, and WAN environments for a diverse client portfolio
- Diagnose and resolve high-level system, server, and network outages to ensure maximum uptime and minimal disruption
Required qualifications
- 3-5+ years of hands-on networking and advanced IT support experience, ideally in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment
- CompTIA Network+ certification (required) and Cisco CCNA or equivalent (preferred)
- Strong practical experience with routing & switching, LAN/WAN, VLANs, VPNs, and firewall management
- Proven ability to work independently in a 100% remote environment
- Must reside in the Central or Pacific Time Zone (CST/PST)
