Title Examiner

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Title Examiner to provide search and examination products for residential orders from assigned customer accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Search and examine public land records to determine insurability and issue Title Commitments and other reports
• Locate and compile records affecting real property, including taxes, bankruptcies, and liens
• Work with the Underwriting Department to identify matters needing review and approval

Required Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent, or five plus years of related experience or training
• Ability to read and interpret industry journals and financial reports
• Proficient with Microsoft Suite
• Strong analytical skills to define problems and draw valid conclusions
• Experience with public records search engines and closing software programs
