Job Summary
A company is looking for a Title Examiner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acquiring and reviewing relevant documents from public records for multiple parcels of land
- Preparing title insurance commitments, pro forma policies, and other related reports
- Coordinating with higher-level staff for guidance on complex situations
Required Qualifications:
- At least one year of experience in title searching in Texas
- Basic knowledge of underwriting procedures and real property law
- Familiarity with title policy insurance coverages and preliminary title report formats
- Ability to calculate split ownership percentages accurately
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
