Title Reader

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Reader II.

Key Responsibilities

• Read, review, and analyze abstracts to determine vesting information and identify liens, judgments, and encumbrances affecting title
• Review various legal documents necessary to clear title, including Contracts, Deeds, Mortgages, and Court Records
• Examine Covenants & Restrictions and municipal searches to assess their impact on title and property use

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Title Insurance
• Knowledge of SoftPro Select is a plus
• Strong time management skills and outstanding work ethic
• Detail-oriented with the ability to handle confidential information
• Ability to work in both team-oriented and self-directed environments
