Job Summary

To support the development of scoring logic, the fully remote Top Secret Data Scientist will design and build rule-weighted composite scoring systems, ensuring transparency and explainability for adjudicator-facing workflows while collaborating with data engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Build and tune v1 rule-weighted composite scoring logic using normalized risk signals
• Create interpretable explanations for scores and drivers suitable for adjudicator review
• Document scoring methodology and maintain validation and monitoring approaches

Required qualifications

• Active Top Secret security clearance
• Bachelor's Degree with 8-10 years of experience or equivalent experience in lieu of degree
• 3-5 years of applied data science experience with scoring or decision-support models
• Strong Python skills, including experience with scikit-learn and SQL for data analysis
• Experience implementing interpretable approaches and explainability methods
