Job Summary

Leading the design and evolution of secure, scalable, multi-tenant system architectures, the full-time Senior Security Architect will ensure compliance with federal security frameworks while managing architecture documentation and providing guidance to engineering teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design of secure, scalable architectures for federal cloud and enterprise programs, balancing security with operational practicality
• Align system architecture with federal security frameworks and agency-specific requirements, translating policy into implementable design
• Perform architecture reviews and threat modeling, identifying risks and driving mitigation strategies before production deployment

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field; equivalent experience considered
• 7+ years of hands-on experience administering enterprise-scale applications and systems
• 3+ years supporting production systems, understanding operational constraints and pressures
• Active Top Secret (TS) clearance required; candidates without it will not be considered
• Demonstrated experience designing secure, scalable, multi-tenant systems in enterprise or federal cloud environments
