Toxicology Operations Manager

Job Summary

Leading scientific and operational tasks, the full-time salaried Toxicology Operations Manager will manage contracting, drug supply, protocol development, and the conduct of non-GLP and GLP Toxicology studies, while working remotely and occasionally traveling domestically and internationally.

Key responsibilities

• Oversees the operational role for the Toxicology department, ensuring project goals are met
• Defines standard departmental practices for conducting and reporting Toxicology studies
• Coordinates study outsourcing, including RFPs, contracting, and monitoring, while providing detailed evaluations of study data

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in biological sciences with over 7 years of experience in a pharmaceutical/drug development environment
• Significant experience in designing, monitoring, and interpreting regulated nonclinical safety studies
• Knowledge of communicating Toxicology study results to global project teams
• Ability to troubleshoot challenges during the conduct of Toxicology studies
