Trade Compliance Attorney

Job Summary

To support F500-ranked clients in the aerospace, defense, and life sciences industries, the remote Trade Compliance Attorney will provide legal guidance on export controls, sanctions, and customs compliance while conducting reviews of international trade transactions and advising on compliance best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal guidance on export controls, sanctions, customs compliance, and trade regulations
• Conduct reviews of international trade transactions and documentation to identify compliance risks
• Advise on trade compliance requirements and collaborate with stakeholders to implement solutions

Required qualifications

• Proficiency in Vietnamese
• Experience in international trade compliance law, including familiarity with EAR, ITAR, FTR, and/or AFAC
• Strong knowledge of import/export controls, economic sanctions, and customs regulations
• Ability to stay updated on changes to trade laws and advise on their business impacts
• Juris Doctor degree or equivalent, with a valid license to practice law in an applicable jurisdiction
