Trade Compliance Specialist
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Trade Compliance Specialist to ensure efficient import and export operations while supporting compliance-related functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate in post-entry audits and coordinate post-entry corrections for customs declarations
- Provide HTS/ECCN classification and monitor changes in regulations for compliance
- Act as the main contact for freight forwarders and customs brokers, resolving shipment-related issues
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 1+ year of experience in global logistics, freight forwarding, or customs brokerage
- Experience with Customs Classification (HTS) is highly desirable
- Familiarity with SAP S4 Hana or Global Trade Services (GTS) is a plus
- Certifications as a Certified Export Specialist (CES) or Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) are advantageous
