Trade Compliance Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Trade Compliance Specialist to support global trade compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the classification of goods using HTS codes
• Support the preparation and submission of import/export documentation in compliance with regulations
• Monitor shipments for timely customs clearance and resolve issues with brokers or freight forwarders

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in international business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 0-2 years of experience in trade compliance, logistics, or international shipping preferred
• Basic understanding of import/export regulations (e.g., EAR, ITAR, Customs)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ERP systems is a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
