Trade Compliance Specialist

Job Summary

Trade Compliance Specialist, responsible for ensuring compliance with trade laws and import/export regulations in a full-time remote role, while managing import/export activities and maintaining accurate trade records.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide operational and compliance support for import and export processes within a designated region
• Administer free-trade agreement programs and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with trade regulations
• Serve as a subject matter expert on trade compliance, including tariffs and VAT, and assist with trade compliance projects

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Customs, International Trade, Logistics, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 3 or more years of experience in regulatory trade compliance and U.S. import/export operations
• Demonstrated knowledge of export control and international trade concepts
• Strong knowledge of customs valuation, product classifications, and tariff codes
• Proven experience organizing and analyzing product and customer sales data through an ERP system
