Trade Compliance Specialist

Job Summary

To support the safest and most cost-effective import operations, the full-time remote Trade Compliance Specialist will ensure regulatory readiness and classification accuracy by assigning HTS classifications, validating PGA implications, and conducting structured research on tariff updates and trade actions.

Key responsibilities

• Assign accurate HTS classifications using relevant guidelines and rulings
• Validate PGA implications and admissibility requirements for imports
• Conduct structured research on tariff updates, regulatory changes, and trade actions

Required qualifications

• Strong understanding of HTSUS and Canada HS structure, including GRIs and binding precedent
• Skilled at identifying product nuances affecting classification and admissibility
• Familiarity with PGA requirements and agency-specific risks or restrictions
• Able to conduct structured tariff and regulatory research
• High attention to detail when reviewing product descriptions and specifications
