Job Summary
To support high-volume Mexico import activity, the full-time Trade Compliance Specialist will manage compliant import and export execution, perform tariff classification, and coordinate with customs brokers, all while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Mexico customs brokers to manage import/export filings and ensure accurate classification and compliance
- Act as the primary point of contact for border issues, driving resolution of clearance issues with brokers and internal stakeholders
- Perform tariff classification and USMCA/T-MEC analysis for Mexico import/export transactions while ensuring documentation accuracy
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in trade compliance, customs operations, or cross-border logistics within Mexico
- Strong knowledge of Mexico customs processes and experience with tariff classification and origin analysis
- Experience supporting USMCA/T-MEC execution and documentation requirements
- Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
