Trade Compliance Specialist

Job Summary

To support high-volume Mexico import activity, the full-time Trade Compliance Specialist will manage compliant import and export execution, perform tariff classification, and coordinate with customs brokers, all while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Mexico customs brokers to manage import/export filings and ensure accurate classification and compliance
• Act as the primary point of contact for border issues, driving resolution of clearance issues with brokers and internal stakeholders
• Perform tariff classification and USMCA/T-MEC analysis for Mexico import/export transactions while ensuring documentation accuracy

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in trade compliance, customs operations, or cross-border logistics within Mexico
• Strong knowledge of Mexico customs processes and experience with tariff classification and origin analysis
• Experience supporting USMCA/T-MEC execution and documentation requirements
• Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish and English
