Trade Controls Attorney

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Trade Controls Attorney who will provide legal guidance on export control and sanctions matters, develop and implement trade controls compliance policies, and support corporate transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal and regulatory guidance on export controls and economic sanctions
• Develop and implement trade controls compliance policies and procedures
• Support corporate transactions and integration activities related to trade compliance

Required Qualifications:

• Law degree from an accredited U.S. law school and admission to the bar in Michigan or another state
• At least 5 years of experience advising on export controls and sanctions regulations
• Ability to prioritize and work independently
• Excellent business judgment and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
