Trademark Attorney

Job Summary

Seeking a highly accomplished and strategic trademark attorney, the remote Senior Director, Head of Trademarks will manage a complex global trademark portfolio while leading clearance and protection strategies for pharmaceutical and consumer product names, and designing anti-counterfeit monitoring programs.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage a large global trademark portfolio across 100+ jurisdictions, aligning strategy with commercial objectives
• Lead trademark clearance and protection for new pharmaceutical product names, coordinating with regulatory and commercial teams
• Design and implement a comprehensive anti-counterfeit monitoring program and direct enforcement actions

Required qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership (U.S. required; additional jurisdictions a plus)
• 7+ years of trademark law experience, preferably in-house at a global pharmaceutical or consumer goods company
• Deep expertise in pharmaceutical and consumer product naming
• Experience managing large-scale global trademark portfolios (10,000+ marks preferred)
• Hands-on experience with AI-driven trademark tools and automation
