Trademark Attorney
Job Summary
To support a growing practice, the remote Trademark Attorney will leverage technology to improve operational efficiency, conduct trademark searches, file applications, and provide strategic advice to small business clients.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct and review trademark searches while advising clients on registrability and strength of their marks
- File a high volume of trademark applications and respond to Office actions at the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office
- Assist senior trademark attorneys and increase access to trademark law for small businesses
Required qualifications
- A minimum of U.S. trademark prosecution experience
- A Juris Doctorate (JD) and a license to practice in good standing with at least one state bar
- Experience with high-volume U.S. trademark prosecution and clearance searching
- Ability to explain legal concepts to non-attorneys over the phone and online
- Experience working with small businesses and start-ups, with strong legal judgment and business acumen
