Job Summary
To support a growing practice, the remote Trademark Attorney (State Licensed) will leverage technology to improve operational efficiency, conduct trademark searches, file applications, and provide strategic advice to small business clients.
Key responsibilities
- Leverage technology and AI-enabled tools to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience
- Conduct and review trademark searches, advising clients on registrability and risk analyses
- File high volumes of trademark applications and respond to Office actions at the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office
Required qualifications
- Minimum of U.S. trademark prosecution experience
- Juris Doctorate (JD) and a license to practice in good standing with at least one state bar
- Experience with high-volume U.S. trademark prosecution and responding to Office actions
- Strong ability to explain legal concepts to non-attorneys over the phone and online
- Experience working with small businesses and start-ups, with excellent legal judgment and business acumen
