Job Summary

To support a diverse client base in the alternative investment industry, the remote contract Trading Assistant Consultant will provide expert advice and guidance on trading needs, ensuring effective implementation of action plans and management of trade life cycles.

Key responsibilities
  • Consult with clients to develop actionable monthly plans and implement policies related to trading operations
  • Manage the full life cycle of trades, including booking, settlement, and problem resolution, while coordinating with traders and portfolio managers
  • Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and assist with reporting under Dodd Frank and EMIR
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in an Alternative Asset Manager, Hedge Fund, or Family Office
  • Demonstrated knowledge of settlement practices and procedures, including familiarity with back-office operations
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task under pressure
  • Quantitative aptitude and understanding of basic financial concepts through education or experience
