Trading Operations Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Trading Operations / Capital Markets Project Consultant.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of trading operations policies and processes across various trading sectors
• Evaluate the integration of Private Wealth Advisors into the Investment Banking business model
• Examine and validate operational documentation, workflows, and control frameworks for compliance and efficiency

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in trading operations, compliance, or operational risk within MBS, Fixed Income, or Equity markets
• Experience in a consulting firm, broker dealer, investment bank, or wealth management environment is preferred
• Strong understanding of regulatory policies governing sales and trading activities
• Proficient in process mapping, gap analysis, and documenting operational processes
• Detail-oriented with strong writing skills and the ability to produce polished deliverables
