Trading Specialist
Job Summary
Serving as a trusted trading Subject Matter Expert, the full-time remote Trading Specialist will guide members through complex trading discussions, educate them on trading strategies and tax implications, and support financial planners in executing member portfolios.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide in-depth trade and options guidance to members, addressing inquiries regarding trade execution and portfolio rebalancing
- Collaborate with CFP Financial Planners to evaluate member portfolios and align trading strategies with holistic financial plans
- Identify opportunities for process enhancement to streamline member trading interactions and improve internal workflows
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in client-facing trading support, brokerage operations, or investor services
- Solid understanding of equity and ETF trading, option strategies, and custodian transfer processes
- Proficiency with Order Management Systems (OMS) and portfolio management software
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex trading concepts for members
- Empathy and active listening skills, particularly during high-volatility market events
