Traditional Chinese Localization Translator

Job Summary

To create an exceptional user experience for Traditional Chinese users, the contract Traditional Chinese Localization Translator will localize marketing and product content, collaborate with team members, and conduct quality assurance on the live app while working remotely from anywhere in the world.

Key responsibilities

• Localize all marketing and product copies, ensuring accuracy and alignment with style guidelines
• Attend meetings to discuss translations and align on style, tone, and vocabulary
• Conduct quality assurance on the live app to ensure content is engaging and correct for the Traditional Chinese audience

Required qualifications

• Native-level proficiency in written Traditional Chinese and full professional fluency in English
• 3+ years of experience in translating, transcreation, proofreading, and/or copywriting for a Traditional Chinese audience
• Experience localizing online, mobile, and/or game products
• Ability to evaluate TTS audio in the native language and report on quality nuances
• A portfolio of past work demonstrating expertise in localization and translation
