Traefik Migration Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a senior DevOps engineer, the long-term contract Traefik Migration Engineer will focus on migrating from NGINX Ingress Controller to Traefik in a production environment, utilizing expertise in Kubernetes and related technologies, all while working 100% remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to the migration from NGINX Ingress Controller to Traefik
• Manage Kubernetes ingress configurations, routing, and middleware settings
• Provide production support, incident management, and performance tuning for the migration process

Required qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Traefik and NGINX Ingress Controller
• Proficiency in Kubernetes and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Experience with CI/CD practices and tools such as GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps
• Knowledge of Docker and SSL/TLS configurations
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a production environment
