Traefik Migration Engineer

Job Summary

To support a long-term contract, the fully remote Traefik Migration Engineer will lead the migration from NGINX Ingress Controller to Traefik in a production environment, utilizing expertise in Kubernetes and DevOps practices.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the migration process from NGINX Ingress to Traefik, ensuring seamless integration in production
• Oversee Kubernetes ingress management, including routing, middleware, and SSL/TLS configurations
• Provide production support and incident management while tuning performance and ensuring high availability

Required qualifications

• Proven experience with Traefik and NGINX Ingress Controller in a production environment
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, including AKS and Docker
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps
• Ability to independently manage and support Kubernetes-based DevOps environments
• Hands-on experience with SSL/TLS, traffic routing, and middleware configuration
