Traefik Migration Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a senior DevOps engineer, the fully remote Traefik Migration Engineer will manage the migration from NGINX Ingress Controller to Traefik in a production environment, leveraging expertise in Kubernetes, routing, and middleware configuration on a long-term contract basis.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the migration process from NGINX Ingress Controller to Traefik, ensuring seamless integration within a Kubernetes environment
• Manage and optimize routing, middleware, and SSL/TLS configurations to enhance application performance and security
• Provide production support and incident management, including root cause analysis and performance tuning

Required qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Traefik and NGINX Ingress Controller
• Proficiency in Kubernetes and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Experience with CI/CD processes, including GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps
• Familiarity with Docker and SSL/TLS management
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in managing Kubernetes-based DevOps environments
