Traffic Agent

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Traffic Agent responsible for gathering international documentation and arranging domestic delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare traffic files and instructions for delivery orders and ensure submission of the Bill of Lading when required
• Coordinate with Client Import Analyst and external parties for missing documents and customs release
• Track/trace shipments to avoid potential storage liabilities and complete delivery orders

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience
• High School/GED or equivalent education
• Familiarity with credit policies, traffic and forwarding methods, and customs release process
• Client service orientation with strong interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
