Traffic Agent

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Traffic Agent responsible for gathering international documentation and arranging domestic delivery to destinations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare traffic files and instructions for delivery orders and ensure submission of the Bill of Lading when required
• Coordinate with Client Import Analyst and external parties for missing documents and customs release
• Track/trace shipments to avoid storage/demurrage liabilities and complete delivery orders

Required Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a related field
• High School/GED or equivalent education required
• Familiarity with customs release processes and international transportation
• Computer and Internet skills, including MS Office experience
• Knowledge of traffic and forwarding methods and procedures
